Free Written Quote

You call us, email us or fill in the form on our get a free quote page. We arrange a time to look at the job, ask the questions we need answered and take measurements where required.

Within a short time after that visit, you receive a written quote. It sets out the scope clearly: what will be painted, what prep is included, which products will be used and the fixed price for the whole job. No grey areas, no surprise extras.

If you want to adjust the scope, that is straightforward. We talk it through, update the quote and both parties agree before work starts.

Surface Preparation

This is the step most painting problems trace back to skipping. Before any paint goes on, surfaces are prepared properly.

That means washing down walls and ceilings, scraping back loose or peeling paint, filling cracks and holes, sanding smooth, and priming where needed. On exterior jobs, it includes treating any mould or moisture affected areas first.

Prep is not glamorous but it is the reason a good paint job lasts. Every surface we paint has been prepared to the same standard, whether it is a single room or a full exterior repaint.

03 / 05

Painting

Once surfaces are prepared and masking is in place, painting begins. We use quality products suited to the surface and the conditions. Interior and exterior paints are matched to the application. The correct number of coats is applied and each coat is allowed to cure before the next.

We cut in by hand for sharp edges at ceilings, trims and architraves. There is no shortcut that produces the same result.

04 / 05

Daily Clean-Up

At the end of every working day, the site is cleaned up. Drop sheets are folded and stored, furniture is left covered or returned to position and any waste is removed. We leave the property tidy enough for you to use the spaces that are not being painted. If something unexpected comes up during the job, we tell you about it promptly and agree on how to handle it before we proceed.

03 / 05

Final Check and Sign-Off

When all painting is complete, we do a walk-through of the job with you. We check edges, coats, coverage and finish against the agreed scope.

If anything does not meet the standard, we fix it before we leave. The job is not finished until it is checked and you are satisfied.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical house paint take?
It depends on the size and condition of the property. A standard three-bedroom interior can take two to four days. A full exterior repaint may take three to five days or longer for larger homes or those needing significant prep work. We give you a clear timeframe in the written quote.
Not necessarily. Many customers give us access and check in at the end of each day. We communicate throughout the job and let you know if anything requires your attention.

We use quality exterior and interior paints from reputable Australian suppliers, matched to the surface type and application. If you have a preference for a specific brand or colour range, let us know when we quote.
